manateelovers association was established in 2009 by Averyl Chow, graphic artist and a passionate about manatees. The association was created in order to let the public aware of this gentle and harmless mammal – the manatee. Our goal is to inform and educate the public to protect our environment, thus, create a cleaner marine life for the manatees so as the other living species in the ocean. Through donations and sponsors, we will help the research centres to conduct more efforts in finding a better way to protect the manatees as well as their habitats.
manateelovers association is a nonprofit organization. Funds from our donation program go to public awareness and educational campaigns, manatee research, and voices to ensure better protection for manatees and their environment. |

| Manatees are listed federally in the United States as Endangered Species. As listed from USGS, the Major threats to manatee survival are human activities: boat-related injuries and deaths, habitat loss or degradation, and in some countries, hunting. What can we do to help them? Love the Ocean, Love the Earth. Making those moves does not only save manatees, it saves other marine life too! Let’s work together to build a better marine habitat! |
